This is rock solid and something that was quite necessary. Thank you!

This is just fantastic stuff. Thank you! :-)

zem, this is an excellent plugin. I’m amazed by the flexbility and the details you built in.

May I still ask for one more option? If there was the possibility to assign an id attribute to each element, the whole thing would be perfect.

I’d like to give input=”text” and input=”submit” different bg-images. Of course, I can use attribute selectors in my CSS but IE won’t get them. So an id or class or both would be just—heaven.

Thanks for all the great plugins! They’re highly appreciated.

I have to agree with Andreas. There’s real quality on display here. Thanks!

I use your plugin and switched the mailto: address to my account but when I test the form, I do not receive the test message.

I just used this on the recent RC3 version. Works slick and it has a ton of features. Excellent job Zem!

Eric D. Burdo    Apr 22, 06:28 am    #

This is really good. Super slick. I’ve just got it done and wanted to add an onFocus=”this.className=’currentField type of deal to the input elements to improve usability. Anyone know how I might hack this a bit to make it so?
I’m completely new to textpattern plugins and have no idea where to look to make modifications. When I install the plugin, where does it go? LOL
If I can’t, obviously, who cares? I mean, this is the easiest form implementation I’ve seen on any cms and am thrilled by it. You rock zem. Really.

Great plugin!
Is is possible to “link” to a specific URL after submitting the form?

Thanks,

Steven

easy as pie, thanks.

andrea    May 27, 10:09 am    #

I’d really like the ability to go to a “thanks page” instead of a thanks form so the thank you message can be more clear.

Nice piece of work—Tony

Love it!

I second the request for a class attribute.

Hi,

the Script works fine for me, but I’m running into problems with umlauts (Unicode-related?). At the recipient-side, it looks like this:

Ä becomes Ä
Ö becomes Ö
Ü becomes Ü

ä becomes ä
ö becomes ö
ü becomes ü

ß becomes ß

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jan

Hi ! Great plugin but I have two problems : attribute “form” and tag do not work :(

– Using a form attribute, it do not find it. (so I put all code where I wanted, it’s not a big problem);

– Using the select tag I have the list but on sending mail it put it again to empty value :(

Any help ?

Thanks by advance.

esoc    Apr 8, 04:57 am    #

Is there anyway to use the drop down selection tag to supply the mailto value? I’ve used this in it’s basic state and it works great.

Matthew Stover    May 16, 09:58 am    #

Great plug in. But, I’ve also noticed that there is a problem (unicode related) with some “non-standard” signs. I can enter them in the form but when the validation is not passed those signs are changed. Any idea what is going on?
Regards

I have a request: could you extend the submit tag so as to use an image as submit button? That would be great. Thanks.

when i try to submit a form with a select field (txp:zem_contact_select), i get several error messages:

* Required field Option is missing

* Required field Nombre is missing

* ‘’ is not a valid email address

* Form expired, please try again.

when i make a form without the select field, everything works fine and i receive an email.

i’ve tried using your example in case i was typing something wrong, but the results are the same.

anything i can do to fix this?

I had a similar problem with the zem_contact_select element…

The solution (workaround) is to put a blank item at the beginning of the list, like this:

list=”,one,two,three”

Jon    Nov 6, 02:24 pm    #

I take that back. Adding a blank entry to the select list avoids the error, but the field is then always blank in the email.

I can’t find that zem_contact anymore to download :(

Is there any link that works?

tnx,
R.
